Keadle Lumber Enterprises has been recognized as one of the Top 200 US Softwood Sawmills. Keadle’s total lumber production in 2007 was 78,000,000 board feet and ranks as the 83rd largest producer nationwide among companies who produced softwood lumber. Keadle’s production is made up of 76% dimension lumber for framing, 15% 5/4 decking, 5% timbers and 3% one inch boards.
“Over the last few years many sawmills have closed, curtailed or consolidated. We remain successful due to increased productivity while closely managing the costs of operation. This has been accomplished utilizing automation and optimization coupled with hands on management and a daily focus on all parts of the operation” states Steve C. Keadle, President of the company.
